Mosquitoes rise

After the week of flooding rain -and a week after Netflix released Russell Crowe's "Noah"- the coastal Alabama rains have finally ceased.  Like an alien army, our mosquitos rose from the damp grass. Larger than New York's mosquito, with added white stripes on their bodies to add to their aggressive look, our Bayou 'squitos are also known as the "Asian Tiger" mosquitoes. Of course there is also the the yellow fever mosquito, and some 58 other species of mosquitoes in Alabama.
