Our guns are loaded and our dogs are rabid

Here is, as my beloved friend Joyce stated- an Alabama tourism poster- boasting...Alabama... where  the people are friendly, their guns are loaded, and their dogs are rabid----

Alabama jokes aside, this photo features our newest doggie addition Indigo, our recent adoption from the Mobile pound and me, in oversized trench coat, sporting two weapons I do not want to shoot.

Alabama has a liberal weapon law, and while I will never carry one outside of our property, I do understand why the law was passed.
